Mini Implant-Supported Dentures

Stable, comfortable and strong chewing power

Mini Implant-Supported DenturesDr. Liska can use dental implants to support custom-fitted dentures, or to possibly stabilize a pair of existing dentures that you have. He has received an extensive amount of sophisticated training with dental implants and has vast surgical experience, making the implant placement procedure a very smooth process.

Dr. Liska’s knowledge of implant placement techniques and the high quality, 3D X-ray images he gets with his conebeam scanner allow him to place the implant in exactly the right position during surgery, minimizing healing time and speeding up recovery.

Benefits of Snap-in Dentures

Mini Implant-Supported DenturesHere are some of the many benefits of implant-supported snap-in dentures:

  • They are an effective way to replace all your missing teeth.
  • Snap-in dentures are stronger and more stable than regular dentures.
  • The support added by implants lets the wearer eat solid foods, such as fruits and vegetables with ease.
  • The wearer can speak normally without the dentures slipping or moving around.
  • They look completely natural.
  • With enough implants, there is no need for a plastic palate covering the roof of your mouth, so the dentures feel more natural and comfortable.
  • With enough implants, there is no need for denture adhesives.

Other Denture Stabilization options

For the most strength and ability to chew the foods you want, Dr. Liska offers Teeth in One Day. This is an implant-supported fixed bridge, placed on five to six implants per arch and is only removable by Dr. Liska. This is the top-of-the-line replacement for missing teeth. The fake palate covering the roof of the mouth can be done away with and in some cases even the synthetic gum tissue is not required, meaning the replacement teeth go right up to your own gums, just like real teeth.

How Snap-in Dentures work

Dr. Liska takes a 3D scan of your mouth and jaw, then uses special software to plan the placement of your implants. He believes that all cases need to be planned thoroughly for the most effective results.

Dr. Liska will place up to six dental implants in your jaw to secure the denture. The implants are made of titanium and act as tooth roots, providing strength and stability for your dentures. The denture is made to snap right on to the implants giving you more stable dentures that don’t slip when you talk and let you eat the foods you want.
